Truck load calculator: which truck do I need?
The right vehicle depends on two limits: floor space (how many pallets fit) and payload (how much weight the truck can legally carry). Whichever you reach first decides the truck.
A standard 12–13.6 m trailer takes about 24 standard pallets (120 × 100 cm) or 33 Euro pallets (120 × 80 cm), and up to around 25 tonnes. Smaller loads can travel on a 3-, 7- or 10-ton truck — or as LTL on a shared truck.
Enter your pallets and weight to see the suggested vehicle.
Enter your pallets and total weight to see which truck fits your load.
| Vehicle | Pallets (std) | Payload |
|---|---|---|
| 1-ton pickup | 2 | 1,000 kg |
| 3-ton truck | 6 | 3,000 kg |
| 7-ton truck | 10 | 7,000 kg |
| 10-ton truck | 14 | 10,000 kg |
| 12 m trailer (flatbed / curtainsider) | 24 | 25,000 kg |
Guide figures; actual capacity depends on pallet height, stackability and local axle-weight rules. Heavy or oversized cargo moves on lowbed trailers.
